|The new course, International InsuranceFundamentals, instructs participants on the toolsnecessary to construct an international insurance program for anorganization based in the United States. The course uses acase-based approach with real-world examples to illustrate complexconcepts, making it ideal for new hires and for experiencedprofessionals who are otherwise unfamiliar with the internationalmarket.
|The Institutes adds that the CPCU Society's InternationalInsurance Interest Group (3iG) was instrumental in the developmentof this course. Topics include:
- Overview of international insurance
- Identifying international loss exposures
- Regulatory compliance
- Insurer and broker networks
- Reverse flow business
- Selecting international insurance solutions
