Ames & Gough announced the appointment of Amy L. Hotaling as vice president and manager of property-casualty operations. Prior to the appointment, she was a national director of distribution for RLI’s Professional Services Group and served in a variety of roles with ACE USA.
Dan Riordan was appointed CEO of Zurich‘s Global Corporate in North America (GCiNA) business. He will oversee the direction, management and performance of GCiNA. Bryan Salvatore replaces Riordan as president of Zurich North America’s commercial specialty products unit. Salvatore has worked with Zurich for more than 15 years.
Markel added two new members to its product line leadership group: Michael Vought was named managing director of brokerage casualty and excess & umbrella. He has previously held positions with Liberty Mutual, Gulf Insurance and St. Paul Travelers. Phil Freda joined the leadership group as managing director of public entity. Freda has 19 years of experience in various management positions with Selective Insurance Co.
Doreen DiCicco will fill the role of senior vice president of Sterling & Sterling‘s Construction Insurance Practice. She has more than 30 years of industry experience.
Torus chose two senior executives to join its Americas team. Gerald Dupre joined as senior vice president, head of property. He will be responsible for driving profitable growth. Mark Mikulak joined as senior vice president, head of renewable & select energy. He has more than 26 years of diverse property-casualty underwriting experience.
Brian Cote joined Willis North America as senior vice president, human capital practice at Willis of San Diego. He brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the position and will focus on serving the Public Entity, Tribal Gaming and Government sectors in Southern California.
Integro Insurance Brokers hired Miranda Fabian to fill the role of vice president of management risk in the firm’s Chicago office. She will oversee the servicing of clients’ D&O liability, employment practice liability, fiduciary and other risks.
Michael Scuziano joined CS STARS, a unit of Marsh, as president and CEO. He previously served as head of major markets for Tata Consultancy Services.
EPIC formed a new division, EPIC Motorsports, which will provide customers with insurance expertise as well as knowledge of collector cars, racing and associated industry vendors. EPIC Motorsports offers comprehensive coverage for the value of a vintage vehicle along with earthquake coverage, no mile restrictions, “on track” protection and high policty limits.
