Robert “Bobby” Bramlett was named the new chairman of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America at the conclusion of the association's Fall Leadership Conference last week in Atlanta, the association says.

Bramlett is president and chief executive officer of the Bramlett Agency in Ardmore, Okla. He began his insurance career with The Bramlett Agency in 1975 and has served in his current position since 1983.

The agency, which he purchased from his parents, Jim and Janie Bramlett, celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2008.
