ExpeData and MphasiS announce a partnership to enable insurance agents to capture front-end data such as new applications electronically using Anoto, digital pen technology.

The partnership facilitates MphasiS integration of the ExpeData's EDW platform with the Insurance Sales Modernizations Solution (ISM). EDW is a digital-pen enabled end-to-end software platform that automates the collection of natural inputs including handwriting at the point of entry. Through this alliance, the two companies will offer a combined solution to their insurance customers in Australia, North America and Europe.

The solution provides the ability to capture and submit applications electronically, thereby decreasing the time spent to obtain and process the information. As a result, organizations experience substantial improvements in workflow including:

  • Minimizing or eliminating cycle time delays and errors associated with manual processing
  • Reducing or eliminating lost paperwork
  • Enhancing productivity of sales agents
  • Implementing straight-through processing while retaining the human touch for customer relationship development.

"We look forward to working with ExpeData. We are confident that the ability to offer a highly efficient front end data capture mechanism with straight-through processing to back end systems will benefit our customers immensely" says Ganesh Pai, senior vice president and head of the insurance market unit for MphasiS.
