R.B. Jones, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kaufman Financial Group named David Derigiotis (LinkedIn) to the position of director. Derigiotis will develop a growth strategy, increase market presence and introduce products for R.B. Jones. He also will manage the company's leisure and recreation program. Prior, he worked for as director of professional liability for Burns & Wilcox, Kaufman's largest subsidiary.

The Institutes awarded Colleen Dunn (LinkedIn) with the 2011 National Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) of the Year Award. She is a customer service representative at HMS Insurance Assocs. With the award, Dunn received monetary compensation and complimentary registration for one Institutes Online course.

Allied World Bermuda, a subsidiary of Allied World Assurance Co. Holdings, introduced its D&O liability policy, Executive ForceField. It will provide Side A coverage for non-indemnified loss and will be available on either an excess or primary basis. Policy highlights include:

Broad definition of “DIC Event,” and broad definition of “Loss”
Advancement of defense costs and pre-claim inquiry costs on a current basis

RLI Corp. announced it will pay the theft activation fee for all of its RLI Marine policyholders who purchase and install an IRONwatch equipment tracking device serviced by the National Equipment Register. This will help participating RLI Marine insureds reduce recovery time and costs for stolen equipment. There are no monthly monitoring fees associated with using the IRONwatch device. EnviroMission Ltd. appointed Aon Risk Solutions to be the exclusive provider of insurance placement and risk consulting services for the construction and operation of its first solar tower power station in La Paz, Ariz. When completed, the La Paz Solar Tower is expected to be one of the world's tallest built structures.
