Euclid hires specialty underwriting team:Euclid Insurance Services has formed Euclid SpecialtyManagers with the hiring of DanielAronowitz as managing princiapl, DouglasDvorack, chief claims officer, MichaelSaa, chief underwriting officer (professional liability),Marty Geglhaus, chief underwriting officer(commercial lines), and John O'Brien, chiefmarketing officer. Euclid Specialty Managers will maintain officesin McLean, Va., and New York.

Keystone Insurers partners with RSS Insurance:One of Tennessee's largest locally owned independent agencies,RSSInsurance, now partners with KeystoneInsurers Group for its P&C brokerage needs.Keystone now has 14 franchise partners in Tennessee.

Digital Insurance acquisition: DigitalInsurance, Atlanta, has acquired KelloggSmith, Miami, and will now operate under the nameDigital Benefit Advisors, a division of DigitalInsurance.

Brown & Brown enter acquisition agreement:Brown & Brown has entered intoan agreement to acquire the parent company ofArrowhead General Insurance Agency, a nationalprogram manager and managing general agent, from Spectrum EquityInvestors, JMI Equity and a management equityholder group. Thetransaction is expected to close in January 2012 and is subject tocustomary closing conditions.

Gallagher acquires Colorado agency:Arthur J. Gallagher has acquired Kahl Insurance, Englewood, Colo.Terms were not disclosed. Kahl provides retail P&C andrisk management brokerage services focused on the healthcareindustry.

PURE expands P&C to Louisiana:Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE)expanded its customized property and casualtyinsurance coverage to owners of well-built, high-value homes inLouisiana. PURE serves more than 13,000 affluent individuals andfamilies by offering high-value homeowners, private fleet auto,fine art and jewelry collection, personal excess liability andwatercraft insurance.

Zurich undewriting expansion:Zurich has agreed to become the underwriter forWorld Wide Specialty Programs. The new program features coverages for generalliability, professional liability, property, auto, crime,employment practices liability, umbrella and workers'compensation.
