Claims professionals report their cases are closing faster,printing and mailing costs are eliminated and expenses associatedwith preparing an arbitration filing have been reduced throughweb-based subrogation.

Insurance-claims industry members speaking at the annualconference of the National Association of Subrogation Professionalsin Orlando, Fla., say the electronic subrogation system, used as adocument management and communication tool, is delivering gains inproductivity.

W. Russ Smith, president and chief executive officer ofArbitration Forums, Inc., says users of the electronic subrogationsystem, E-Subro Hub, are reporting that cases are frequently closedwithin days as opposed to weeks or months, and expenses associatedwith preparing an arbitration filing have beenreduced.
