Agencyport Software (formerly Sword Insurance), a provider of software and services to the global insurance and reinsurance industries, announces the completion of its corporate rebranding, the expansion of its sales and customer support teams, and the opening of a new office in Dallas. The new office is Agencyport's fifth U.S. location and is a reflection of the firm's growth into new markets.

Fueled by a recent acquisition by a private equity firm, Agencyport has pursued an active expansion strategy that includes growing its geographic footprint, adding to its blue-chip customer base, increasing sales and support professionals, and offering customers a more diversified product and services portfolio. 

The Dallas office is located at 2401 Internet Boulevard in Frisco, Tex., and is led by Michael McCurley, senior vice president of global sales for Agencyport. McCurley joined Agencyport in August from Oracle Insurance. The new sales office is comprised of six executives who have more than 60 years of combined experience within insurance technology industry.

"With support from an expanded sales team, Agencyport is now positioned to grow quickly and aggressively," says McCurley. "Over the next few years, we will offer customers and partners more of what they want—increased functionality in our products and solutions and a better way of streamlining their day-to-day business processes."
