NAPSLO names new education director: The National Assn. of Professional Surplus Lines Offices has named Randall Jones as its education director. He will be responsible for exploring and developing new educational programs along with existing programs. Jones assumes this role after the retirement of NAPSLO Education Coordinator Marcus Payne.

Marsh acquires Seitlin Insurance: Marsh and McLennan Agency (MMA) announced its acquisition of Seitlin Insurance. Seitlin has 119 employees will serve as MMS’s Florida hub with three offices in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.

New product launch for Allied World: Allied World Bermuda now offers a new primary practices liability product called 32°/64° for agencies needing a comprehensive coverage package. Schinnerer broadens policy: Victor O. Schinnerer & Co. has broadened its general liability policy for architects, engineers and surveyors. The most significant upgrades include blanket waiver of subrogation, contractual coverage for railroads and aggregate limits per project /aggregate per location.

Zurich announces product solution for contractors: Zurich announced it has formed a product solution called the public private partnership performance bond that meets the needs of contractors working in public private partnership marketplace. The new surety product allows large construction projects to benefit from favorable financing treatment while maintaining the public policy, project completion and subcontractor payment benefits of traditional surety bonds.
