John K. Tiene joins Consolidated: John K. Tiene has been named a CEO of Consolidated Insurance Agents. Tiene's most recent role was corporate director with OneBeacon Insurance Group and served as a principal spokesperson of the $12 billion property-casualty insurance industry for the state of New Jersey.
Lockton expands insurance brokerage team: Former risk manager Ben Seward has joined Lockton's Memphis office as senior vice president-account executive. Seward will be responsible for property casualty insurance program development, negotiation, placement and service for corporate clients. Previously he worked for Marsh as senior vice president and senior client advisor for 8 years'.
IA&B elects new chair: Robert B. Hall has been elected as chairman of the board by the Insurance Agents and Brokers Assocs.(IA&B) of Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland. Hall is a lifetime member and recently served as vice chairman of the service group for IA&B.
New Policies
Mainstay rebrands and launches new products: Mainstay Insurance Group, established in 2008, is renamed Fulcrum Insurance Programs. The new name reflects the company's dedication to delivering value and creating balanced growth for their partners in the hospitality, habitational, real estate and casino industries. Fulcrum has also widened its offerings by adding two new programs: Fulcrum for hotels and resorts and Fulcrum for casinos. Included in these programs are general liability and property coverages and a $100 million umbrella for large casinos.
