SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Allstate Insurance Co. saidTuesday that it's now offering identity theft insurance inCalifornia.
|The insurance will cover expenses related to identitytheft and is designed to help reduce the time and costs thatvictims spend trying to recover their identities, Allstatesaid.
|The identity theft expense coverage is available to new andrenewing Allstate automotive policyholders in California for as lowas $30 a year. The policy provides up to $25,000 in reimbursementcoverage for expenses incurred to restore identity, includingattorney fees, loan reapplication fees, credit and police reportfees, and lost wages, the company said.
