The National African-American Insurance Association (NAAIA) willhost its 13th annual national conference Sept. 28-30 atthe Fairmount Turnberry Resort in Miami.

Themed “Diversity-A Roadmap to New Opportunities” the eventbrings together insurance industry professionals from various rolesand disciplines to participate in roundtable discussion forums,continuing education workshops and networking. An awards ceremonywill honor those who have made significant contributions to thisindustry.

“The 2011 National Conference will champion the use of teamworkas a key to success for African Americans presented with(insurance) industry challenges and opportunities,” says Don Davis,national chairman of NAAIA. “The diversity of talent andperspective embodied by the NAAIA membership and supporters willfurther emphasize the value of collaboration.”
