WASHINGTON—The Senate failed last night to pass legislation repealing the health care reform law, but did pass legislation repealing a provision of the law that imposed a widely criticized tax-reporting provision.
The Senate rejected, 47-51, an amendment that contained H.R. 2, "Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act," which was passed by the House last week.
