"I can handle anything," is what Enzo Palumbo told reporters before taking up residence at the Big Brother house. The current twelfth season has yielded the highest ratings the popular reality show has ever seen. A healthy chunk of the CBS show's success can certainly be attributed to its entertaining cast of characters, which currently includes Palumbo, who is one of three in the show's finale, which is set to air on Wednesday.
Sure, some might be surprised to know that the outspoken, attention-grabbing Palumbo is an insurance adjuster. But others realize that the same confident, can-do demeanor that serves this Italian-American from Bayonne, New Jersey well in the adjusting profession has been a notable asset in strategically avoiding eviction on the show. As an adjuster, Palumbo can handle challenges in times of extreme stress and nevertheless emerge calm, and even jovial.
Palumbo has continued to make good on the promise he conveyed prior to Week 1: that is, he would bring four powerful "signature moves" to the game. One is his nickname, the "Meow Meow," while the second "move" is to tell whom he construes as irritating or vapid that what they are saying is "caca." His third signature move, "The Face" has been deployed at various points throughout the show thus far. Yet, it remains somewhat difficult to define (envision a look of consternation at something -- or someone -- disgusting). Palumbo's final move is perhaps the piece de resistance. Named the "Italian Horns," this hand gesture supposedly brings bad luck to others and yet neutralizes any negative vibes directed Palumbo's way.
