The Florida Senate has passed SB 2044 by a vote of 32 – 6, andthe massive property insurance legislation now goes back to theFlorida House. The Senate approved an amendment by Sen. GarrettRichter pertaining to a proposed rate increase for insurers,necessitating another vote by the House today, the final day of theregular 2010 session.
