A recent article in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune carried the provocative headline, “How Insurers Make Millions on the Side.” Among the insurers called to task in a side piece called, “Not Saving for a Rainy Day,” were Sunshine State Insurance Co. and U.S. RE Corp.
