The Insurance Educational Association announced the appointmentof Judy Adlam as its chair and Louis H. Castoria as vice chair.

The Santa Ana, Calif.-based IEA, a provider of professionaleducation, described Ms. Adlam, who is president and chiefexecutive officer of LWP Claims Solutions, Inc., a Californiaworkers' compensation third party administrator, as an "industryinnovator... known for both her focus on staff development andtraining and her track record for delivering programs that improveworkers' compensation outcomes and lower costs."

Mr. Castoria is a partner with Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman& Dicker LLP. He chairs the firm's Specialty Professional Risksteam and co-chairs its Securities Industry team. He has lecturedextensively on insurance, tort reform and technology issues and hascontributed to industry publications.

He was the first outside counsel elected to the board and hasinitiated strategic relationships between IEA and other educationaland industry groups, IEA said.

Roy Little, President and CEO of the Insurance EducationalAssociation said in a statement the new appointees "will lead ourBoard as IEA continues to forge partnerships and create otheropportunities to expand our reach to new learners who can benefitfrom IEA's online self-study and other innovative offerings."

IEA focuses on workers' compensation, property and casualtyinsurance, risk management, disability management, and financialservices course offerings.
