|The Nevada Division of Insurance announced it has redesigned andadded new features to its Web site in an effort to promote ease ofuse for consumers and regulated entities.
|According to the division, new features include:
|o An enhanced consumers' page with answers to frequently askedquestions and links to consumer guides, including the 2009-2010"Nevada Consumer's Guide to Auto Insurance Rates."
|o Free look-up capabilities on our home page allowing the publicto check if an agent, producer or company is licensed.
|o Site-search capabilities.
|o Improved division contact information.
|o New tools that licensees can use to manage continuingeducation requirements, license renewals, and fees.
|o A "more user-friendly" list of required industry reports forinsurers, with quick links to applicable Nevada Revised Statutesand Nevada Administrative Codes.
|The division said the site has also been reorganized, withinformation separated into categories designed to appeal to theperspective of the person visiting the site: consumers, captiveinsurers, insurers, producers and self-insureds.
