Terry Fleming was named president of the New York-based Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS) for the 2010 term effective Jan. 1.

Mr. Fleming is director of the division of risk management for Montgomery County, Md. He is currently vice president of the Society and has served on the RIMS board of directors since 2004.
