The Professional Insurance Agents of New York announced they will hold their annual Metropolitan Regional Awareness Program Jan. 28 at the New York Marriott in Brooklyn, N.Y.

PIANY said the event will offer two continuing education classes hosted by Ivan Cohen. One class will cover New York and New Jersey multistate workers' compensation exposure issues, and the other will cover instruction on errors and omissions loss prevention issues for insurance agents and brokers.

The meeting will also feature a trade show and the New York Young Insurance Professionals networking reception.

This is the first of three regional programs for 2010. The other two are scheduled for Long Island in April and the Hudson Valley in the fall.
