The New York Insurance Association announced that Richard J.Zick, president and chief executive officer of Utica FirstInsurance Company, was elected NYIA chairman at the association'sannual meeting last week in Latham, N.Y.
Mr. Zick will serve a one-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2010. Hehas served on the NYIA Board of Directors for the past 10 years andwas recognized as the association's 2008 Chair's DistinguishedService Award winner.
