Consumer groups seeking financial help so representatives can attend meetings of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners can apply now for funding, the NAIC announced.

The organization said it is accepting applications for its 2010 Consumer Liaison Program, which "promotes consumer representation and interaction with the NAIC members by providing funding for qualified consumer representatives to participate in NAIC meetings."
