The Pennsylvania Insurance Department on Friday said it is seeking a court order to place Penn Treaty Network America Insurance Company into liquidation.

The department said it has petitions seeking orders of liquidation for Penn Treaty Network America Insurance Company and its subsidiary, American Network Insurance Company. The petitions are subject to court approval.
