The Public Entity Risk Institute, a nonprofit risk management training and education group, said it has released a book with the latest research and developments in emergency management.

The publication is a compilation of presentations made by industry experts during the 2008 Annual Emergency Management in Higher Education Conference, sponsored by the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), said Fairfax, Va.-based PERI.
