Highline Data today announced that it has released key financialdata for 2008 for many of the property-casualty insurance companiesthat ranked among the top 100 in 2007 based on net writtenpremium.

The first rollout of 2008 annual statutory data from HighlineData, through its online product Insurance Analyst PRO, came withinhours of the first release of 2008 annual statements from theNational Association of Insurance Commissioners, said HighlineData, an affiliate of National Underwriter.

Included in the March 2 release is data from annual statementpages for assets, liabilities, income statements, cash flow,investments, underwriting data, as well as the “Five-YearHistorical Data” page, and the state pages (“Exhibit ofPremiums”).

Highline noted that some companies have not yet filed their datawith the NAIC. Key data for additional top 100 companies that fileafter March 1 will be made available on a rolling basis, with fulldata delivery coming the week of March 9, when a larger universe ofcompany data will be released by the NAIC, Highline Data said.

According to data released by Highline so far for the companiesthat have filed, the top 25, ranked by 2008 net written premiums,are as follows:

Not included in the release are several members of AmericanInternational Group, Safeco and Farmers.
