Tech Decisions will deliver the latest information on the future of the insurance technology marketplace when it presents “Facing the Future of Insurance,” a virtual conference and trade show to be broadcast on Thursday, March 5.

Online conferences and trade shows offer the same benefits as traditional trade shows. Attendees can chat via instant messenger with exhibitors and other attendees, download brochures and white papers to their computer, and ask speakers questions after their presentations. But unlike traditional trade shows, attendees can listen to sessions and download handouts as often as they wish for 90 days after the close of the show.

Conference sessions include:

“The State of Insurance Technology”–a panel discussion featuring three members of the Tech Decisions 2008 IT All-Stars including Steve Boyd, CIO of Arrowhead Insurance; James P. Knight, executive vice president and global CIO of Chubb & Sons; and Akhil Tripathi, senior vice president and CIO of Harleysville Insurance.

“The Next Level of Business Analytics” features Joel A. Appelbaum, chief analytics officer of Zurich Direct underwriters; William B. Jenkins, vice president and CIO of Penn National Insurance; and Matt Josefowicz, director insurance for Novarica.

“Electronic Content Management: How to Battle the Bulge” features Mike Fitzgerald, senior analyst with Celent; William Montefusco, document management and workflow administrator with Bankers Insurance; and Julie Porter, manager IT product development with Frontline Homeowners Insurance.

“Compliance, Governance, and Managing the Risk” features Lawrence A. Danielson, principal with Deloitte Consulting; and Howard Mills, chief advisor to the insurance industry group with Deloitte.
