Westerville, Ohio-based Progressive Medical Inc., a managed carecompany, said Chief Operating Officer Kevin Banion has been giventhe additional title of president.

The transition, effective March 1, will see firm founder DaveBianconi continuing to serve as chief executive officer.

Mr. Banion, who currently serves as COO, will oversee thecompany's direction and daily operations. He will ensure that allstrategic plans support Progressive Medical's business objectives,the company said.

Mr. Banion will also continue to develop internal policies tomaximize efficiency of operations and develop general operatinggoals and objectives, Progressive said.

Progressive Medical, through a national network, offers costcontainment services and products to the workers' compensation andauto no-fault insurance industries.

The company provides pharmacy management and ancillary solutionsto manage costs for its clients and provide care for injuredworkers.
