Marsh Insurance brokerage said it has named Kenneth Kwok as HongKong chairman.

Mr. Kwok, the announcement said, will report to Paul Wilkins,chief executive officer for Greater China, and work beside MarshHong Kong CEO David Jacob.

A company spokesman said in an e-mail that this is a newposition within the company.

Mr. Kwok, Marsh said, has over 40 years experience in allaspects of insurance, from broking to underwriting in Hong Kong andinternationally.

Most recently, Mr. Kwok was chairman of Falcon Insurance HongKong, a unit of Canada's Fairfax Financial Holdings, and previouslyheld senior positions at HSBC Non-Life Holdings, Lombard InsuranceGroup and Jardine Insurance.

Mr. Kwok will focus on unlocking Marsh's potential in Hong Kong,forging new relationships within the local business community andfurther strengthening the team currently in place, Marsh said.
