The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies announced it will host a two-day summit in March on climate issues and their effect on property-casualty insurers.
David Reddick, NAMIC director of public policy and research, said the organization hopes the conference will provide a comprehensive forum for exchange of information on the broader aspects of climate change and how they will affect insurers.
The event will be held March 3-4 at the Sofitel Chicago Water Tower Hotel in Chicago, said Indianapolis-based NAMIC.
