Itasca, Ill.-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced it has acquired The HR Group, LLC, in Brentwood, Tenn. Financial terms were not released.
Gallagher said the HR Group is an employee benefits brokerage firm offering employee benefits products, services with human resource management consulting and outsourced benefits administration services. The firm, which operates nationwide, was established in 1996.
Karen Saul, the principal, and her associates, totaling 20, will continue to operate in their current location under the direction of North Central Regional Executive Vice President William Ziebell, with Gallagher's employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations.
