The Workers Compensation Research Institute said its annual Issues and Research Conference will be held Nov. 12 and 13 in Boston.

WCRI said the conference will feature discussions and insights on key issues in workers' compensation and the aim of the gathering will be to identify the successes, lessons and mistakes of the past 25 years including how key system features have changed since 1983 and how these lessons from the past can help in the future.

The conference will also look to the future, speculating on what the workers' comp system will look like in 10 years. Speakers will also examine the biggest challenges, opportunities and threats to improving system performance.
