Bermuda-based Ironshore Inc. announced today that Ironshore Insurance Ltd. President and Chief Underwriting Officer Les Rock resigned effective tomorrow for unspecified “personal reasons.”
Robert V. Deutsch, Ironshore chief executive officer, noted, “On behalf of my colleagues we thank Les for his many contributions to Ironshore. He leaves Ironshore in a strong financial position. We wish him all the best.”
The company said Howard Barnes, Peter Coleman and Rod Todd will continue to underwrite property insurance through Ironshore's Bermuda office and Russ John has agreed to take on a more active oversight role for underwriting at each of the platforms in Bermuda, the United States and London in connection with his service as chairman of the Underwriting & Risk Committee of the Board of Directors.
