The 33rd Annual Florida Risk and Insurance Management Society Educational Conference will include climate change, the subprime mortgage crisis and technology among its discussion topics, RIMs said.
Scheduled July 29-Aug. 2, in Naples, Fla., the meeting is expected to attract more than 600 risk professionals.
Michael A. Benishek, RIMS Tampa Bay Chapter president and director of risk management and insurance at Pacific Tomato Growers, Ltd., said in a statement that the conference will feature numerous educational sessions dealing with risk management, including segments on litigation, safety, insurance, environmental and human resource issues.
