FM Global said today it will release its previously exclusive property loss prevention engineering guidelines at no cost, through its Web site www.fmglobaldatasheets.com.
The Johnston, R.I., commercial and industrial property insurer said it is releasing thousands of pages of information, comprising loss prevention data, for the first time in its 170-year history.
According to FM Global, the property loss prevention data sheets provide large-scale businesses, facility and risk managers, as well as their architects, consultants and contractors a tool to help prevent property damage and maintain business continuity due to threats posed by fire, weather conditions, and failure of electrical or mechanical equipment.
