The International Insurance Society said "Meeting the Global Demand for Insurance" will be the theme of its 44th annual seminar in Taipei, Taiwan, which more than 500 insurance executives from 50 countries are expected to attend.

Thirty insurance leaders from various nations are due to be on the program July 13-16, at the Grand Formosa Regent. The event is presented in cooperation with the Financial Supervisory Commission of Taiwan.

IIS said the meeting program will address the most pressing issues facing the global insurance industry, including regulation, human capital, growth and distribution, as well as challenges in assessing risks "in a turbulent and rapidly evolving environment."
