Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. said Ben Allen, the chief operating officer of Kroll, MMC's risk consulting and technology group, has been named Kroll's president and chief executive officer.
Mr. Allen succeeds Simon V. Freakley, who will serve as CEO of a newly formed MMC corporate advisory and restructuring unit.
Both Mr. Allen and Mr. Freakley will report to Brian Duperreault, president and CEO of New York-based MMC.
