Guidewire Software, Inc., a provider of solutions forproperty/casualty and workers' compensation insurers, releasedGuidewire BillingCenter 2.0, a billing system for all lines ofP&C insurance. BillingCenter currently is in production use andis being implemented at six Guidewire client sites.

The new version provides insurers of all sizes with a modernsystem for managing the end-to-end billing process. BillingCentermanages both agency and direct bill plans and accommodates therequirements of all lines of business. The system was developed inJava for the J2EE standard and shares a common platform withGuidewire's ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter systems. BillingCenter canbe implemented as part of the Guidewire solution suite orintegrated into an insurer's existing environment or with other newapplications.
