The deadline to enter the inaugural National Underwriter "Agency Technology Achievement Award" program, launched in partnership with ACORD, is looming, with all entries due by Feb. 25.

In addition, nominations from interested third parties--including insurance companies, managing general agencies, tech vendors and user groups--is due by Feb. 11. Once NU receives a nomination, the agency will be contacted about entering the award program. Send your nominations to atrembly@nuco.com.

Agents are encouraged to enter their own IT initiatives for consideration, sharing their success stories on how they creatively employ tech to grow their business, better serve their carriers and clients, as well as streamline their operations.

Three award winners will receive:

o A free trip to the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum in Las Vegas, on May 13-15.

o Profiles of their tech programs in the May 12 edition of NU.

o A seat at a live roundtable to share the secrets of their tech success at the ACORD LOMA conference, with additional coverage in NU's June 23 edition.
