Insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said it has acquired a California-based agency and completed its previously announced deal for a Pennsylvania-based consulting firm. Terms of both deals were not released.
The Itasca, Ill.-based broker said it has acquired Crist Elliott Machette Insurance Services Inc. (CEM) of Oakland, Calif.
AJG said CEM is a retail insurance broker specializing in the real estate and construction industries offering risk management, commercial property-casualty and personal lines insurance products and services. They were incorporated in 1993.
