Wholesale property-casualty insurance brokerage firm Casualty & Surety Inc. (CSI) said it has acquired Fresno, Calif.-based JC Shannon Insurance Services Inc. Terms of the deal were not released.

Rob Roberts, chief operation officer at Birmingham, Ala.-based CSI, said JC Shannon specializes in truck physical damage and cargo coverage.

JC Shannon, with less than $1 million in revenue and two employees, will provide CSI with a platform to build upon in the trucking industry and grow its presences in the West, Mr. Roberts said in a statement.
