Itasca, Ill.-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said it has acquired the Robert A. Schneider Agency Inc. headquartered in Minnetonka, Minn. Transaction terms were not released.
AJG said the new acquisition has been in business for 33 years functioning as a managing general agent and wholesale insurance broker providing excess and surplus, property-casualty, professional business liability, and other products and services for independent insurance agents and brokers.
The agency also specializes in the transportation, hospitality and residential contractors industries and operates primarily throughout the northern Midwest, AJG said.
