Insurity, a ChoicePoint business, has introduced a development program for newly hired business analysts (BAs). The goals of the program are to acclimate BAs quickly to the Insurity environment and to ensure every BA has the skills and knowledge to provide service to Insurity's customers. Insurity is a provider of software and services to the property/casualty insurance industry.

"Our goal is to build on the skills BAs have acquired in previous positions," says Melissa Ryer, who heads Insurity's business analyst development program. "BAs play an important role in successful customer deployment. We want every BA to be current with industry trends and standards and to make sure they have all the tools and knowledge they need to deliver Insurity's products and services consistently and effectively."

Insurity's BAs work with customers to identify, organize, and communicate business and systems requirements to external and internal project groups. They also work closely with customers during the development, testing, and implementation of property/casualty applications for commercial and personal lines policy administration and claims.
