Lawson Software and Perceptive Software, Inc., announced an expansion of their existing partnership. A Lawson partner since 2001, Perceptive will provide content management solutions to Lawson customers in healthcare, financial services, public services, retail, and other markets Lawson serves. Under the expanded partnership, Perceptive now is a gold-level partner within Lawson's Complementary Partner Program.

"ImageNow (Perceptive's document management and imaging software) provides Lawson customers with improved efficiencies," says Terry Plath, global director of business development for Lawson. "The ability for users to retrieve relevant documents related to Lawson transactions or records directly from any Lawson S3 application helps eliminate the frustration of manual paper-shuffling, filing, and searching--ultimately increasing efficiencies as our customers look for ways to minimize paper-intensive processes."

ImageNow allows for rapid integration and added functionality that can help increase productivity and the overall user experience with Lawson applications. More than 120 Lawson customers are utilizing ImageNow to complement their Lawson solutions. ImageNow can be set up to work directly with Lawson applications, operating as though it is built in to the Lawson business system, enabling users to access documents quickly when they are needed. Perceptive Software's patented LearnMode technology is designed to simplify integration with the Lawson system, contributing to a timely implementation and providing Lawson customers with a faster return on their document management investment.
