Reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter & Company LLC said it has changed the name of its financial consulting services to insurers from MMC Securities to GC Securities.
Guy Carpenter, a subsidiary of New York-based services firm Marsh & McLennan Companies, said that with the renaming it is also expanding its investment banking capabilities in Europe.
MMC Securities Ltd. in Europe was changed to GC Securities Ltd. In the United States, GC Securities has now been established as a division of MMC Securities Corp., a U.S. broker-dealer.
