Wells Fargo Insurance Services said it has promoted Paul Baldwin to the position of chief operating officer of its American E&S operations, a wholesale broker. This is a new position in the firm, a spokesperson said.
The Chicago-based broker, a subsidiary of San Francisco-based financial services firm Wells Fargo & Company, said Mr. Baldwin will take an active role in strategic business development within American E&S.
His primary focus will be to support and grow cross-sell opportunities within Wells Fargo Insurance Services, plan and direct sales programs to develop new customers, and work with the executive management committee in setting short- and long-term strategic goals and objectives, the company said.
