DRC has announced the introduction of DecisionMaker Assistant, the latest addition to DRC's DecisionMaker solution suite. DM Assistant enables real-time automated underwriting at point of sale.

With DM Assistant, property/casualty carriers can offer their distribution channels once-and-done, real-time service for quoting, underwriting rules, and point-of-sale policy fulfillment. Unlike traditional environments where rule changes require time, programming, and additional sales training, with DM Assistant business users are empowered to promote new rules, forms, and output throughout distribution channels.

Anchor General currently is utilizing DM Assistant for its agency auto point-of-sales process in Texas and California. Arizona will be released by Sept. 30. John Amat, CIO for Anchor, says, "By implementing DM Assistant, we have reduced our average customer sales cycle to three to four minutes compared with the seven days it used to require. We have confidence we are pricing properly, with customers quickly being issued a policy and identification cards. The days of prolonged underwriting review for new business are over."
