Munich Reinsurance America Inc. has announced that Anthony J. Kuczinski will take over as chairman and chief executive officer Jan. 1, 2008.
Mr. Kuczinski will succeed John P. Phelan, who is set to retire on Dec. 31 after six years of service as chairman and CEO of Munich.
Mr. Kuczinski previously held the position of president of Munich Re America's specialty markets division. According to the company, his division continually increased its contributions to the value of the group's operations.
