Marsh Inc. said it has appointed five senior insurance brokerage executives to lead the firm's middle market operations in four major cities and the Carolinas.
The firm said it named Henry N. Watkins Jr. to lead its New York operations; Kevin Daley to take charge in Los Angeles; Samuel D. Daume Jr. in Boston; Mark Freeman in San Francisco, and James P. Breeney in the Carolinas. The positions are new to the firm, a spokesman said.
Mark Feuer, head of U.S. Middle Market for Marsh said in a statement that the move strengthens the firm's presence in these areas “as we begin to reach out in dramatically new ways to the rapidly growing number of midsize businesses that increasingly need the portfolio of sophisticated risk advisory and insurance services that only a truly global firm, such as Marsh, can deliver.”
