St. Louis-based workers' compensation insurer Safety National Casualty Corp. said it has named Gerald Scott chief operations officer and Duane Hercules chief financial officer and executive vice president of business development.
A spokeswoman said these are new positions in the company.
"Jerry and Duane have been invaluable team members at Safety National for more than 23 years," said Terrence Schoeninger, president and chief executive officer. "These promotions are an integral step in our senior management succession plans, ensuring the future of Safety National."
