An agent and carrier group said it will present a June 26 panel discussion by industry and government representatives concerning issues related to insuring for natural catastrophes.
The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents and the Florida Insurance Council announced the event as "Government and Insurance Markets: Achieving the Balance."
The purpose of the conference at the Marriott Hotel in Marco Island, Fla., is to help better define problems and work toward viable solutions, PIA said. Joining PIA in hosting the event are the PIA of Florida and PIA of Louisiana.
